Merge main to 6.x to get the lambda docs live

New and improved Lambda docs were merged shortly after our 6.9.x release went live. This will merge the new docs into 6.x so they can be live.

@bmorelli25 The docs build says there are broken links. But they're broken links from the lambda extension, so maybe they've already been fixed?
