Motivation / Use-Case

• socket option was removed in BREAKING CHANGE: remove socket option #2669.
• publicPath option was moved to dev in chore: upgrade dev middleware #2660 and now respects webpack output path (BREAKING CHANGES: handle publicPath correctly #2671), so only log it when it is overridden via options.dev.publicPath. Fixes webpack output is served from undefined #2745.
