Image format support for opengl #1970

Currently adding using the argument --format png doesn't have any affect we have the option for saving last frame now from #1952. We should also look at implementing this for opengl, I think as an additional requirement for this we should disable it and log for interactive mode as otherwise it would endlessly create images.
