In the meantime, until that PR is merged, you can uninstall the current Powershell extension, clone @oWretch's repo, switch it to the lsp-download branch, then use the "Install Dev Extension" button, then select the cloned repo (make sure you switched branches). This will automatically build the plugin with the fix locally and use it.
