Our new spring-messaging module is currently primarily used in the spring-websocket module. In time for 4.0, we should explore its applicability to JMS and to message listener methods in particular.

Moving this to the 4.x backlog, targeting the 4.1 timeframe. A thorough review and ideally a prototype should still be done in time for 4.0 GA.
