Thanks for the help! I'm closing this, since it is being addressed differently with #83 instead The alternate version lets us maintain backward compatibility with the 2.x driver in addition to making 3.x the default driver. |

I kept mocha at 5.0.1 to keep the tests passing, see https://github.com/mochajs/mocha/releases/tag/v5.0.2. The tests need to be fixed in ShareDB. I'll open a PR soon.
