[New example request] Self-managed Apache Kafka

We are thinking to try this feature, but the docs are really limited.
Eg. they don't even specify the format of the secret

Could you please confirm whether it should be in the format

{
  username: <string>,
  password <string>
}

like it seems by reading in the AWS docs?
