Feature Request: remove white space during extraction

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a configuration option that would trim white space during extraction. This would prevent the following:

      <div translate>
        Are you sure you want to do this?
      </div>

from turning into:

msgid ""
""
"        Are you sure you want to do this?
"      "
msgstr ""

Hadn't run into this because I compile my HTML with Jade (which strips whitespace during compile), but yes, let's do this. Needs changes in angular-gettext and grunt-angular-gettext. Should be a one-liner or so in both.
