Installation Error - Can't find directory

I've tried to install the python wrapper by running "python setup.py install" however I keep getting:

Fatal Error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'libfreenect2/libfreenect2.hpp': no such file or directory.

I've tried moving the relevant files and pointing the files in the right direction but it doesn't want to work. Is there something that I'm missing?

Which version of Python are you using, and what platform are you on?

Hi, I've experienced the same issue. The problem is that the Python compilation is looking for the header files, but it doesn't know where to look. I've made some steps by modifying the include_dirs line and adding a library_dirs line to setup.py pointing to the correct locations.

However, this is still WIP; the compiler seems unable to link to the DLL for some reason.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with python 2.7.10

If you want to submit a PR, that's great, but this is somewhat stalled until libfreenect2 gets #283 and #284 merged. They'll be making relatively large changes to the linking (AFAIK), so I'm waiting until they land before doing any major work on this.

As for the Windows platform... well, I'll have a copy of 10 when it's released. Until then, I don't have a stable Windows partition I can develop/test on.
