from url doesn't work with redis:// in the url path

all commands hang if redis:// is included at the start of the url but work fine without it.

redis-py version: Version: 2.10.6
python version:3.6.4

@remeika I have since found out, it was hanging because the aws elastic cache was unreachable. When I removed the redis:// it appeared to work but it turns out it was silently falling back to localhost.

eg
