Follow-up of #3728 which proposed the opposite and that I closed. @colesbury: Do you think that it's worth it to write it explicitly in PEP 7 that we supported this flag but it's no longer the case? |

I understand your need for clarity but I feel that this isn't adding anything useful for Python developers and contributors, so I'd prefer to keep the PEP as short as it is. |
