inconsistent internalerror handling in combination with xdist #2321
Description
#38 and followups introduced nice internalerror handling
however xdist applies it differently than normal pytest causing pytest itself to choose stderr over stdout
in certain situation (including leaving out options)
a deeper investigation may be needed
