This is a WIP as I am not convinced adding a whole env to minify just one file improves contribution or make it any easier but it works, although the final result, in term of size, is not super relevant.

What I'd love to experiment though is the ability to create a .pyc buffer instead and ship it as base64 so that we can decode on the fly such buffer and add an already optimized MicroPython file in there.

This seems like the best of all worlds and it could improve also PyScript story making the stdlib something already optimized as well ... less code, faster code, win-win.

/cc @ntoll I don't think there's any priority hre but that minifier story for Python made me wonder what else could we do to make our project the smallest, yet fastest, we could.


edit this also needs to work on CI with the Python env, requirements, and so on ...
