"Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement" no longer shows "(from versions: ...)" #9228

pip install on a missing version number no longer tells you what was avail in the index in the error message. That was useful info. Intended, or regression?

$ pip install six==v
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement six==v (from versions: 0.9.0, 0.9.1, 0.9.2, 1.0b1, 1.0.0, 1.1.0, 1.2.0, 1.3.0, 1.4.0, 1.4.1, 1.5.0, 1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.6.0, 1.6.1, 1.7.0, 1.7.1, 1.7.2, 1.7.3, 1.8.0, 1.9.0, 1.10.0, 1.11.0, 1.12.0, 1.13.0, 1.14.0, 1.15.0)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for six==v
WARNING: You are using pip version 20.2; however, version 20.3.1 is available.
$ pip install -q -U pip 
$ pip install six==v    
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement six==v
