No Mouse support in Windows 10

I have a full screen application written with prompt toolkit.

self.app = Application(layout=layout, full_screen=True, mouse_support=True...)

The application works fine in Mac and Linux envs. But cannot scroll in Windows 10 command prompt. What is the reason for this and can it be fixed? Or is there an alternative (like enabling scrolling with keyboard)

This looks like a bug. I'm not yet sure what's going on. It looks like the same issue is present in prompt_toolkit 2.0.

cmd , cmder and PowerShell , I've tried them all , but can't support mouse click.
ubuntu is ok.

I was able to fix this in win32.py by doing this ( see #1232 ):

@jonathanslenders is there an example that requires scrolling?

seems like scrollbars are full height and don't move, but not sure

not sure about scrolling yet, but this seems to enable mouse support ( events registering at least ) in powershell

but for anyone testing with the new Windows Terminal, I still do not see mouse events coming through

interestingly, Windows Terminal still exhibits the same behavior I noticed before disabling quick edit

There is a fix proposal, it's a quick fix, maybe there is a better one.

1. apply the fix in the first post form Mouse is not responding in Windows 10 #1177 (maybe optional)

2. Add support for mouse wheel inside the ConsoleInputReader._handle_mouse function in input/win32.py.

Also add support for second button click btw...
