Ahh thanks. This endpoint predated the Nexus RPW that pushed firewall rules down, then when we did the config reconciler work we confirmed that sled-agent didn't need to hit it anymore.

This doorbell API was used by Sled Agent prior to the config reconciler introduced in #8064. Nothing currently appears to use it.
