#Per window input-source GNOME shell extension

This GNOME shell extension restores the previously available input-source behavior that made it possible to have a different keyboard layout per window.

To install, move the repo dir to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ and activate it with gnome-tweak-tool (you might need to logout and login again to experience the restored behavior.
