Proposed Changes
Add dedicated UI views for the following models:
- circuits.CircuitType
- dcim.DeviceRole
- dcim.Location
- dcim.Manufacturer
- dcim.Platform
- dcim.RackRole
- dcim.Region
- dcim.SiteGroup
- ipam.RIR
- ipam.Role
- ipam.VLANGroup
- secrets.SecretRole
- tenancy.TenantGroup
- virtualization.ClusterGroup
- virtualization.ClusterType
Justification
- Provides a consistent user experience
- Simplifies absolute URL resolution
- Obviates the need for a nonstandard view for VLAN group members
It probably makes sense to delay this work until the templates have been overhauled under #5893
