FR #19589 was recently implemented for the upcoming v4.4 to support performing bulk import in the background. This FR seeks to extend that implementation to support bulk edit and bulk delete tasks as well, via a similar workflow utilizing a background job and user notifications.
Use case
As with FR #19589, this will allow the user to initiate large bulk operations and immediately return the NetBox UI without having to wait for the task to complete.
