I opened a PR for basic yielding + continuations recently and it would be nice if the PR could be reviewed sooner than later: https://github.com/mlua-rs/mlua/pull/588 It includes both yielding for all lua versions and continuation support for all lua versions that are not lua 5.1 and luajit.
