404 error for some repos - perhaps ones without existing .github folder?

I tried out the workflow generator on a couple of my repos. It worked fine for one that already had a .github/workflows folder, but failed on a couple of repos that are just a small collection of files in the parent folder.

gives this GitHub 404 error

Hi @michellehirsch, it is likely failing because the repo has a "master" branch rather than a "main" branch. We don't have a great way to detect that at the moment. Looking into what we can do about it...
