Actually, there is no algorithm to find out all dead or alive stings. But as far as I know, katago can do it in almost all cases. You just simply use the gtp command “final_status_list dead”. Katago will help you find out all dead strings.

@skkmg Maybe I understand you. If a move is a capture, YIKE will always do the move, even it is a absolutely wrong move.
You don't need to worry about KataGo, its moves will win games, not capture stones.
