⚠️ Project Status Update #112
Description
Hey there!
The first version of this project was around 7 years ago. Today, here I am with over 1'000 stars on this project and lots of memories to stay.
I've been out of the bot development scene for a couple of years already. That however, I cannot say for how long..
However, I've been working on a new type of project related to bot development since a few days/weeks.
That being said, the project did not receive lots of updates in the past few months/years, which is a reflection of my decision to step down from the bot development scene.
Now comes the important part, I've decided to move the project into a feature-freeze mode. But what does this mean? It can be summed up in a few bullet points:
- The project will receive bug fixes
- The project will be updated to make sure it works with the latest discord.py version
- The project will not receive any new features, unless one of the following applies:
- A new feature is added to Discord and it would be beneficial to have it in the template
- A feature got a breaking change, this fits with the same point that the project will always support the latest discord.py version
In other words, there will be no new update unless something big changes in Discord or discord.py
It's not something new, the project was in this state for a couple of months/years, I've just officially wrote it down now.
