bug(flaky): Download progress counter fails to self update

Describe the Bug

The download progress counter increments up to ~1-2 GB, then it stops self updating.
i.e. the values will be frozen and do not update.
Flaky, happens 1/2 times.

Solution: As a user, I can press enter and it resumes updating.

But it is going to confuse 70% of users who will think that the download has stalled/errored out. leading to a bad ux

Questions

• What causes this issue? Feels like a terminal level issue, not us.
• If it is unavoidable, should we put in some simple copy (e.g. press ENTER to refresh the counter)

Hmm, I haven't faced this issue. But based on your describe, maybe curl is not flushing to stdout. This is libcurl's progress indicator, we don't have control over it.

To be sure, Could you please help me to check if the download is still happening under the hood? If the download still happenning, can check viaData received/sec in activity monitor.

And, even the indicator stop updating, if you leave it there, will it still be complete?
