Memory leak in inflight dependency

Hello,

This project uses inflight as a dependency, which is known to have a memory leak in it: isaacs/inflight-DEPRECATED-DO-NOT-USE#5

Inflight has not been updated since 2016. Would it be possible to remove inflight from this project's dependencies?

Out of curiosity, is someone working on this? Seems like this might be stale since there haven't been any additional comments /feedback added since this was opened. I'm not immediately aware of what it would take to resolve this if it is a breaking change to remove inflight as suggested.

I've faced with the same problem, on our service the memory leak was roughly 4Gb.
Replacing the module with the fast-glob module solved the issue.

The replacing process was smooth, here are the changes I did to get it working:

@isaacs inflight is still part of dependencies in v8. Will this still be removed?
