Enhance protocol security page on website #2703
Description
Why
Our documentation website lacks some information regarding the security of the Mithril protocol, some of which are only available in the research paper:
- What are the security assumptions of Mithril (compared to the security assumptions of Cardano)
- What is the minimum amount of registered stake in the protocol that needs to sign in order to have full security (cryptographic security and reliability)
- What is the minimum amount of stake (the threshold) that must be registered in the protocol to reach full security (cryptographic security and reliability).
What
Provide a clear and simple explanation for readers of the existing Protocol security page of the website (or in a new page) about the security assumptions and the threshold of contributing stake (given the registered stake).
How
- Add a new page or extend the existing Protocol security page of the website:
- Security assumptions of Mithril vs Cardano
- Minimum amount of Cardano stake registered in Mithril for full security
- Contributing stake threshold to create a Mithril certificate with full security protocol parameters
