discussed this internally with @lforst - we want to hard-pin bundler plugin versions in the SDKs to avoid telling users to upgrade (or downgrade) a dependency of our SDK. Instead, we'll just bump the version within the SDK if there's a concrete reason to do so.
Hard-pinning the vite plugin is now also in line with all other dependencies of the SvelteKit SDK
