We've also managed to make the CPU bound tessellation a lot faster. That's not to say we won't try to use compute in the future, but its been hard to get a performance improvement. |

We don't have any plans to use this in the near term. The algorithm works but can easily run out of memory, and would need to be entirely reworked to manage memory allocations.
