perf: replace fast-deep-equal with dequal

lukeed's dequal is amazing, both smaller and faster than fast-deep-equal while being compatible — I think we can slowly migrate to that when possible

Question: package-lock was turned off by .npmrc, so it was not longer updating, is there a reason for its existence?
