Picker crops the text

Environment:
OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13.3
Node: 8.9.4
Yarn: 1.3.2
npm: 6.1.0
Watchman: 4.9.0
Xcode: Xcode 9.2 Build version 9C40b
Android Studio: 3.1 AI-173.4819257

Packages: (wanted => installed)
react: ^16.3.0-alpha.1 => 16.3.0-alpha.1
react-native: 0.54.0 => 0.54.0

I am totally aware of the similar issue (#14575 ) and do not understand why it was closed, because issue still prevails.

• Select is basically Picker with styled-components wrapping.

Why 0.54 is considered to be an old version??
Also I have updated to current 0.55 and the issue is still prevails.

I am closing this issue because it does not appear to have been verified on the latest release, and there has been no followup in a while.
