@jedrazb, I use Elasticsearch 8.18, and I have the same error.
So please, make the MCP server compatible with Elasticsearch 8.

The easiest way I found and tested is to change elasticsearch client dependency version in package.json.
Using Elasticsearch client 8.18.2 here:
