@dsplaisted I added an error on duplicate publish output files (see #10850) but it looks like it will break a lot of projects that will build now (for example, #3904 and this test). Does it make more sense for this to be a warning? |

Even if it were only a warning, would people who get the warning have any idea why they were getting it or how to fix it? I think we should try to understand why there are duplicates in common scenarios, and try to fix the root cause that is causing these duplicates. Then we could make this an error. |
