Well, I just realised that DevOps does not have Xamarin.Android 10.1 and the AndroidX library does not appear to have default interface members yet. Or at least none that I could find.

The:

@interface Something {
    Type something () default {}
}

is actually an annotation with the default property value. Nothing that we actually bind.
