AFAIK, this has been resolved by the PU PR #23365. I'll keep an 👂 open for further feedback. I'd be happy to test in more detail myself, but I'm very 🏃😅 on high priority issues right through the end of the year into 22Q1. I suspect that if there's a problem with the latest guidance provided by the PU that our readers will sharpen their beaks and claws 🦅 for me! 😨 lol

There's also an open PU issue at dotnet/aspnetcore#36805 that should be addressed sooner or later. We'll let the PU issue track it because it's an IF/WHEN update for the PU at this time.
