VueJS project sass path alias not being handled correctly

Description of the problem

There is an error resolving css/sass file path. VueJS CLI-based project compiles fine locally and in production. It appears as if the path alias is not being resolved correctly.

How has this issue affected you? What are you trying to accomplish?

I'm unable to successfully compile VueJS project using codesandbox.

Should indeed not be stale, we handle the sass path handling wrong for this project configuration. It's something that we have to fix in the sass transpiler.
