Description
This PR removes
treatPendingAsSignedOutoption fromuseSessionhook. The main motivation is to return thesessionobject even if the session ispending, like it's done withuseClerk().sessioncontext.It also updates
isSignedInto useClerk.isSignedInto consider thependingstatus as signed-out.This is not a breaking change since we haven't released the API GA, even tho the option wasn't prefixed with
__experimental.Context
Previously, this option was added to cover scenarios where developers were doing
!!sessionchecks for the signed-in state - in fact, some of our docs snippets currently advocate for this.We recognize those decisions have changed after we introduced this as a default behavior for newer applications. Now it's better to strive for the best DX than backwards compatibility.
