Allow manually attaching files via filebrowser

I'd like to be able to manually call up the filebrowser to attach some files. This would require to either define a command for <SID>ExternalFileBrowser() or using <Plug> mappings, or both.

Hm, I do not completely understand. Shouldn't that work?

:let g:checkattach_filebrowser='ranger'
:AttachFile

That could of course be put into a command:

:com :RangerAttach :let
g:checkattach_filebrowser='ranger'|:AttachFile|let
g:checkattach_filebrowser=''

What I didn't test before was to actually provide a pattern (which I
suppose is the part that's supposed to be after :AttachFile), but I
get the same results.

I wasn't aware that :AttachFile was supposed to open the filebrowser.
