Import AsyncStorage from community

Do you plan on updating the AsyncStorage import from the community package?

@jm3565 could you please help explain what needs to be done and the rationale for it? I could consider it.

The rationale is that AsyncStorage as part of RN is deprecated: https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/asyncstorage. Instead, library users are asked to use the community-maintained version from now onwards. This should be a drop-in replacement, so all you'd need to do is add it as a dependency in package.json and update the imports.

the source-code is just only one file: index.js
my plan is copy it to my project and update it accordingly, instead waiting for the new release... no new commits for 7 years
