to fix the numbers of commits issue I had to recreate the PR. I have updated the document per your comments in here #1478.

@fabio-rizzo-01 : normally it is not necessary to re-create PRs. You should be able to force-push into your own branch in your fork :)

@fabio-rizzo-01 : please try force-pushing commit a3c940f into your branch and re-opening the original PR, so that it's easier for reviewers to correlate text changes with previous comments.

That didn't work, i'm still pushing to the same branch as you can see from the PR but the other PR still shows zero changes so github closed it
