Trilium Next on Elementary OS v8.0

I'm a supporting patron of EOS, so was granted access to the final release yesterday. I've been waiting to install this on a Dell XPS 13 laptop that I killed the EOS v7.1 install on a couple of weeks ago playing stupid grub tricks.

Trilium Next works fine on a desktop that I've got Elementary v7.1 install on.

Here is the startup:

Running the EXACT same copy of Trilium Next on the laptop with v8.0 results in:

Any idea what's going on?
