Restrict Editing Based on User in Word Processor

This repository provides a working example of how to create and manage Word documents with user-specific editable regions using the Syncfusion® Document Editor (a.k.a. Word Processor) component in a web application. It demonstrates how to protect documents with passwords, restrict editing to certain users, and enable secure collaboration—all without Microsoft Word or Office interop dependencies.

Features

  • Define user-specific editable regions in DOCX documents

  • Protect the entire document or sections with passwords

  • Grant edit permissions only to authorized users

  • No Microsoft Word or Office interop dependencies required
