Check if we need to force zoom on IE9

IE9 supports scale transforms, but we still encode use of zoom. We should check if that is needed or we only need to force zoom on IE<9.

We need it also for webkit to preserve sharpness of SVG.

Sounds like a separate issue (webkit support, this is about IE). Currently we don't force anything for webkit.

The pattern allows to user to specify which method to use (scale or zoom) and defaults to using scale. However there are overrides. The [auto-scale documentation[(http://patternslib.com/demo/auto-scale/) documentation says:

Patterns will check if the browser supports the requested method: on firefox zoom is not supported (mozilla bug #390936), and IE versions before 10 do not support the scale transform.

In those cases we enforce a specific method that we know works for the browser.

Are we talking about the pattern auto-scale or the pattern Slides? I assumed the latter.

For the pattern auto scale I would opt to use zoom for all browsers except FF, because of preservation of sharpness in at least webkit and because zoom can not only be used on the body element, but also subsections of a page because an element will push other content down when zoomed up while using zoom:. When you use transform, any content below the scaled content will be overlapped.

We probably would need to include a warning for this effect in Firefox in the documentation, or come up with a solution for it like an injected encapsulating DIV of which the height is calculated and changes with zoom. Not so pretty though, but will fix it for 80% of the cases in FF.
