Sometimes Everything installation will fail because of permission issues or file not found issues, so we should let the user know that Everything is not installed properly and ask them to install it manually.

Resolve #3184, #3381, #3393.

Poem

In the warren of code, a fix hops in,
With messages clear when errors begin.
If Everything hides or fails to install,
Now users will know, thanks to this call.
The logs are more helpful, the flow is serene—
A rabbit’s delight in code, crisp and clean! 🐇✨

Plugins/Flow.Launcher.Plugin.Explorer/Languages/en.xaml (1)

165-166: LGTM! Clear and appropriate error messages.

The new localized strings provide clear, user-friendly error messages that align perfectly with the PR objectives of improving user feedback during Everything installation failures.

Plugins/Flow.Launcher.Plugin.Explorer/Search/Everything/EverythingSearchManager.cs (2)

14-14: Good addition for consistent logging.

Adding the ClassName field provides a consistent logging identifier across the class methods.

47-73: Excellent error handling implementation.

The refactored method properly addresses the PR objectives by:

  1. Wrapping installation logic in try-catch - Catches permission issues and file not found errors as mentioned in the PR description
  2. Null path validation - Handles cases where Everything.exe cannot be located with appropriate user feedback
  3. Comprehensive exception handling - Provides clear error messages and detailed logging for debugging
  4. User-friendly feedback - Shows localized error messages to guide users toward manual installation

The implementation aligns perfectly with resolving issues #3184 and #3381 regarding installation failures.
