[v86] Failed to send trace stats: client error (Connect)

Hello, since upgrading lambda extension to v86 I have started observing a recurring error in the logs
DD_EXTENSION | ERROR | Error sending stats: Failed to send trace stats: client error (Connect).
I am using Squid as a proxy server, for Lambdas placed within a VPC.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Could you open a support ticket? I don't see any relevant change from v85 to v86. Our support team should be able to help you investigate into the network issue.

For support team's context: This error is likely from this line.

Actually, I have upgraded the extension from v81 to v86. Anyway, I have issued a ticket to the support, thank you.

Hi @Nitjsefni7 - the connect phase is integral to the HTTP proxy connection, so I don't believe it's caused by a code issue here. I'll close it for now as I believe it's configuration related.
