BOY: slider shouldn't change background colour when disabled

When disabled (i.e. enable property set to "no"), the slider changes its background colour to some grey colour. Other widgets don't do this, so for consistency it would be good if it didn't. It would also give more flexibility to the user to make the widget look exactly the way they want e.g. when locking/disabling controls etc.
