Outreachy Intern - Inquiry about Claudius/Dune System Information Project Setup

Hello OCaml Community,

I'm Michael Oko, and I'm thrilled to have been accepted as an Outreachy intern for the June 2025 contribution phase. I'm very interested in contributing to either the Claudius project or the Extend dune to discover system information project.

I've been trying to follow the slack link provided in the Outreachy project descriptions, but unfortunately I keep having a few issues doing that . However, I was able to find this OCaml GitHub repository directly.

I'm eager to get started and would greatly appreciate some guidance on the following:

Project Setup: Could you please provide instructions or links on how to set up the development environment for either 'Claudius' or the 'dune system information' project?

Initial Steps: What are the recommended first steps for a new contributor to get familiar with the codebase and start contributing?

Specific Tasks: Are there any specific tasks or issues that are particularly suitable for an Outreachy intern to begin with?

Communication Channels: What are the best communication channels to ask questions and receive support during my contributions?

I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to OCaml and learn from the community. Any assistance you can provide would be immensely helpful.
