Now its still buggy for unaligned access, but realistically that shouldn't happen much (and more is broken anyway, I believe).

Now its still buggy for unaligned access, but realistically that shouldn't happen much (and more is broken anyway, I believe).
Some other smaller cleanups, and a very small start for tests to check that the bug fix works ;).
