Description

A newer version of the ch.qos.logback:logback-core and ch.qos.logback:logback-classic is available.

Acceptance Criteria

Retest and release a new version of the java-log-extensions, with the updated dependencies.

The initial scope of this ticket was to update ch.qos.logback:logback-core and ch.qos.logback:logback-classic from 1.2.x to a newer version. The approach has now shifted to maintain support for Logback 1.2.x while adding a new logging plugin for Logback 1.3.x. This work will be carried out in Issue #107
