Maintenance: tracer fix linting

Description

Implement linting for tracer module following what done for logger in #247 ; should be implemented after #107 has been merged.

Expected Behavior

New configuration should be present & npm run lint should be successful.

Current Behavior

Linting fails which causes automated checks to fail as well.

Linting is now consistent with rest of the packages.
