Add a new canvas to a canvas from the bottom menu

First - thankyou, this plugin is amazing! I'm new to obsidian so forgive me if these requests are impossible/already possible.
Is there a way to add a new canvas to an existing canvas by having it as an option in the bottom menu (just like when you drag in a new note).
Also is there a way to copy paste canvases but then have the option of not syncing them. For example I have a layout of a note (with a date) pointing to two canvases below it. For a new date I'd like to be able to copy paste the blank group rather than individually adding all three new elements and connecting them.

Is there a way to add a new canvas to an existing canvas by having it as an option in the bottom menu (just like when you drag in a new note).

You may be interested in the Encapsulate Canvas feature. Instead of creating a canvas directly, you can just start building the new canvas inside the current one, select all the nodes you want and encapsulate the selection into a separate canvas.

You can just use Ctrl+A Ctrl+C Ctrl+V to copy all the content to another canvas.
